Band Boosters

Parents play a very important role in the success of the middle school band program.  Those parents that assist and support the school’s program develop a closer relationship with their children, meet and work with other supporting parents and share in the experiences of a quality band program in the tradition-rich Midland High School System.

Parents may choose to help in a variety of ways.  Some of the most obvious and immediate needs include fund-raising, chaperoning, helping with our equipment trailer, and computer work.  While some of these jobs are more enjoyable than others, all of these functions are necessary and important to your child’s band program.

If you are interested in becoming more involved with your child’s band experiences and would like to meet other caring parents, we encourage you to join the San Jacinto Band Booster Club.  To be called for your help, please fill out the following volunteer form below and return to a band director via your child.

We want to encourage all parents to become involved with our band boosters by being available to help with various activities.  We promise it will be rewarding to you and your child.

We are very proud of the work our students do on a daily basis.  We invite all parents to stop in any time and observe your son or daughter’s band class in action.

Interesting in helping, but worry you don’t have the time?
The SJ Band Booster has many opportunities for you to get in involved that doesn’t require you to “live” at the school.
